Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Justice on Tuesday. The Colonials blew past the Wolves 17-3. The Colonials might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Josie Whitaker made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology got a massive performance out of Emma Tao, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Tao has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Dia Bhatia, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
