Baseball Recap: Overhills Falls Short of Middle Creek in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Overhills can now relate to. They fell 7-2 to the Middle Creek Mustangs on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in February.

Overhills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Devine, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Overhills' defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Middle Creek, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Overhills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middle Creek, they will venture away from home to square off against Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
