Basketball Recap: StoneBridge Takes a Loss

StoneBridge played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 82-43 loss at the hands of the Hampton Christian Academy Warriors. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-24.

Hampton Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Joel Fullwood out in front who posted 16 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Bryce Harris, who scored 16 points and five steals.

StoneBridge has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Hampton Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

StoneBridge has already played their next match, a 69-58 victory against Greenbrier Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Hampton Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-44 defeat against Portsmouth Christian on the 24th.
