Jackson-Reed had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the School Without Walls Penguins on Wednesday as they made off with  a  12-2 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 21 matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Owen Stone looked comfortable as he  pitched 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (four).
 On the hitting side,  Jackson Loomis was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases and three  runs.  Derick Riddick was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Jackson-Reed was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .381. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .375 or higher in four consecutive  games.
Jackson-Reed's victory was  their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 28-4. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for School Without Walls, they moved to 18-10 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Jackson-Reed nor the Penguins have any future games scheduled.
