Recap: Woodbury Royals vs. North Polars
The Woodbury Royals can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 67-58 win over North. The win was just what Woodbury needed coming off of a 79-52 defeat in their prior game.
Several Polars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brevin Conway, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Ramadan Hassan was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
The win got Woodbury back to even at 8-8. As for North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7-1.
Woodbury will be playing at home against Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Stillwater's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. North won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hastings at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hastings will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
