Basketball Game Preview: New Town Eagles vs. Stanley Blue Jays

New Town is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Stanley is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles take on the Blue Jays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Town knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Stanley likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, New Town came up short against Des Lacs-Burlington and fell 65-55.

Meanwhile, Stanley blew past Dunseith, posting a 79-50 win. The Blue Jays haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

New Town's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Stanley, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
