Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wynot). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars 54-8 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-8.

Wynot found their leader in underclassman Lane Heimes, who rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Heimes a new career-high in rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Haberman, who gained 89 total yards and three touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Wynot was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 214 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
