Cor Jesu Academy won the last time they faced Lindbergh and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chargers came out on top against the Flyers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Cor Jesu Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 15-25, 25-15.

Leading Cor Jesu Academy to victory were Ginnie Normile and Tori Gallen. Normile had 11 digs and three aces, while Gallen had six assists and three digs. That's the most aces Normile has posted since back in September.

Lindbergh's loss came despite strong showings from Kirsten Gororo and Mia Fleming. Gororo had four aces and three digs, while Fleming had.

Cor Jesu Academy's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Lindbergh, they dropped their record down to 12-14-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Cor Jesu Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against St. Dominic on the 20th. As for Lindbergh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Rockwood Summit on the 20th.
