Volleyball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Takes a Loss

Franklin-Simpson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grayson County Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on September 11th.

Franklin-Simpson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21-1. As for Grayson County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin-Simpson will challenge Glasgow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grayson County, they will take on Edmonson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
