Towns County has gone 8-2 against Lincoln County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Towns County Indians are taking a road trip to face off against the Lincoln County Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Towns County came up short against Lake Oconee Academy and fell 59-52. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Titans are ranked 75th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln County scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 72-61 to Harlem. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Lincoln County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Towns County, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Towns County came up short against Lincoln County when the teams last played back in February, falling 64-59. Can Towns County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
