Football Game Preview: Omak Pioneers vs. Rochester Warriors + How To Watch

The Omak Pioneers will square off against the Rochester Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Omak lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Colville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Crimson Hawks with a sharp 42-16 victory on Friday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Pioneers just coasted through the last quarter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rochester). They claimed a resounding 74-41 win over Lakeside. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Omak better focus on containing Ethan Rodriguez and Maddox Rodgers as the pair were huge in Rochester's win. Rodriguez gained 268 total yards and three touchdowns, while Rodgers rushed for 153 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. What's more, Rodriguez racked up 37 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in September.

Rochester was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 616 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Omak's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Rochester, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
