Softball Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons vs. Norton Lancers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dighton-Rehoboth Regional had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 10-2 margin over the Norton Lancers. The result was nothing new for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, who have now won 16 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Edy LaTour made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. LaTour has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in ten consecutive pitching appearances. LaTour was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
