Volleyball Recap: Seven Lakes Wins Going Away Against Morton Ranch

Seven Lakes won the last time they faced Morton Ranch and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Mavericks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-19, 25-13.

Seven Lakes can attribute much of their success to Emma Sabelli, who had six digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Sabelli a new career-high.

Sabelli wasn't the only good servers: Seven Lakes was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.

Seven Lakes' win bumped their record up to 24-11. As for Morton Ranch, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-26.

As of now, neither Seven Lakes nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
