Berthoud strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Thompson Valley Eagles 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

While Berthoud won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-22.

Avery Tychsen paced Berthoud's offense, picking up 11 kills. Tychsen got some help from Libby Wilson and her 32 assists. Wilson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Berthoud's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Thompson Valley, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Berthoud didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Timnath on the 9th. As for Thompson Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Northridge on the 9th.
