Cedar Grove had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Newark Academy Minutemen as they made off with a 12-3 victory. Considering the Panthers have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Cedar Grove's record now sits at 4-2. As for Newark Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
