Baseball Recap: Lincoln Falls Short of Champaign Central in the Playoffs

Lincoln and Champaign Central squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lincoln had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Maroons. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Railsplitters haven't been shut out since back in April.

Lincoln now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Champaign Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-12-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor Champaign Central have any future games scheduled.
