Volleyball Recap: Sebastian River Triumphs

After losing to Freedom the last time they met, Sebastian River decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sharks had just enough and edged out the Patriots 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Sharks as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sebastian River got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 23-25, 15-12.

Sebastian River now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Freedom, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Sebastian River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against East Ridge on the 4th. As for Freedom, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gateway on the 4th.
