Basketball Recap: Knob Noster Takes a Loss

Knob Noster lost against Lafayette County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knob Noster Panthers were outmatched by the Lafayette County Huskers and fell 71-42. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Huskers are ranked 152nd).

Knob Noster's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Lafayette County, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Knob Noster will venture away from home to challenge Holden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 74-52 win against St. Paul Lutheran on the 16th.
