After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marion, Bennington was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Sedgwick Cardinals get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bennington now has a winning record of 7-6-2. As for Sedgwick, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bennington beat the Cardinals by a score of 17-2 later that day.
