Basketball Recap: Tripoli Comes Up Short

Tripoli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Waterloo Christian Regents, falling 74-37. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 84-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Tripoli's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Waterloo Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Tripoli will take on Rockford in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Tripoli is facing Rockford at the right time seeing as Rockford is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Waterloo Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Clarksville at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
