Basketball Recap: Ja'leah Provitt's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harding over Howland

Harding lost against Howland back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Harding Raiders took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Howland Tigers. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ja'Leah Provitt, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. Nadia McQueen was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight boards.

Harding's record is now 10-7. As for Howland, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding has already played their next matchup (against Cardinal Mooney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Howland Tigers duke it out with the Canfield Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
