Basketball Recap: Las Cruces Falls Short of Hobbs in the Playoffs

Las Cruces and Hobbs squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Las Cruces had to settle for second. They fell 63-54 to the Hobbs Eagles. The Bulldawgs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Las Cruces' defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Hobbs, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.

As of now, neither Las Cruces nor Hobbs have any future games scheduled.
