Basketball Recap: Mclean Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact McLean can now relate to. The game between the McLean Highlanders and the Centreville Wildcats didn't end well, with the McLean Highlanders falling 47-33. The Highlanders just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

McLean's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Centreville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

McLean does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centreville, they will face off against Langley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Langley will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Centreville surely won't give up without a fight.
