Softball Recap: Fenton Tigers vs. Swartz Creek Dragons

Fenton put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season on Monday. Everything went their way against the Swartz Creek Dragons as the Fenton Tigers made off with an 18-8 victory. The win was nothing new for Fenton as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Lily Turkowski was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed six innings while giving up four earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits. Turkowski was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Fenton got a massive performance out of Taryn Craven, who went 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Craven has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times she's played. Sophie Collins was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4.
