Maine-Endwell won the last time they faced Norwich and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans took their contest with ease, bagging a 50-12 win over the Purple Tornado. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.

Norwich's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zachary Parker, who rushed for 79 yards and one score. Parker got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 56 yards.

Maine-Endwell now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Norwich, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maine-Endwell will head out to take on Union-Endicott at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norwich, they will head out on the road to square off against Susquehanna Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
