Softball Recap: Kuemper Comes Up Short

Kuemper was the 10-0 winner over Glidden-Ralston when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights lost 12-4 to the Wildcats on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kuemper's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Glidden-Ralston, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kuemper will square off against Atlantic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Glidden-Ralston, they will challenge Woodbine at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.2, the Tigers 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
