Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Carver

Carver extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 3-3. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-13 W against the Cohasset Skippers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Cohasset, they now have a losing record of 4-5. On the bright side, the 13- run effort marked their highest-scoring contest to date.

For Cohasset's part, Anthony Simone was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Simone has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Thornton, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Carver will head out to take on Norwell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cohasset, they will take on Middleborough at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
