Volleyball Recap: Antelope Valley Gets the Win

The Antelope Valley Antelopes narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars 3-2.

Antelope Valley was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-102), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 16-25, 20-25, 16-14.

Antelope Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Antelope Valley has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Mojave on the 25th. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they will head out to challenge Santa Clarita Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
