Basketball Recap: Ridgevue Takes a Loss

Ridgevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 63-54 to the Timberline Wolves.

Loss or not, Ridgevue got some senior leadership from Myra Martinez and McKenna Durrant. Martinez posted 13 points, while Durrant went 5 for 8 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds. What's more, Martinez also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Marissa Tuft, who scored five points.

Ridgevue's record now sits at 9-11. As for Timberline, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Ridgevue will square off against Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eagle will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Ridgevue surely won't give up without a fight. Timberline has already played their next game (against Capital), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
