Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Comes Up Short

Notre Dame Academy suffered their biggest defeat since September 16th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Marymount Sailors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sailors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Notre Dame Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-10, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Karys Campos, who had seven digs and four assists. Frankie Jones also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Notre Dame Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Marymount, their record now sits at 34-5.

Notre Dame Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Helix on the 11th. As for Marymount, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Chaminade on the 13th.
