Basketball Recap: Galena Find Success

Galena's tournament run continued when they took on Gloria Deo Academy on Monday. The Galena Bears walked away with a 70-61 victory over Gloria Deo Academy.

Galena's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Gloria Deo Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galena and Southern Missouri RUSH will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Gloria Deo Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jefferson Independent Day at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
