It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Harker Heights ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Bryan Vikings 15-13. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.

Brianna Warriner was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Lewansi Luna Guzman, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Harker Heights hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 14-2 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Harker Heights' record is now 19-8. As for Bryan, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
