There's no place like home for Lennard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Spoto Spartans on Thursday as the Lennard Longhorns made off with a 12-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Longhorns needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Sarita Hernandez was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Kennedy McClain was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Lennard was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Spoto only posted a batting average of .000.

Lennard now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Spoto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Lennard will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Plant at 10:00 a.m. As for Spoto, they will head out on the road to square off against King at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
