Volleyball Recap: Owen J. Roberts Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Owen J. Roberts entered their tilt with Kennett on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Blue Demons by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Demons, too.

The win didn't come easy: Kennett scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Owen J. Roberts' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jillian Mccusker led the charge by getting 11 digs. That's the most digs Mccusker has posted since back in October of 2024.

Owen J. Roberts was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in three consecutive contests.

Owen J. Roberts' victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Kennett, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
