Basketball Game Preview: A.L. Brown Wonders vs. West Cabarrus Wolverines

A.L. Brown hasn't had much luck against West Cabarrus recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The A.L. Brown Wonders are taking a road trip to face off against the West Cabarrus Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

A.L. Brown is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost 87-64 to Cox Mill. While losing is never fun, the Wonders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Chargers are ranked 173rd).

Meanwhile, West Cabarrus came up short against Lake Norman on Friday and fell 68-56. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

West Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for A.L. Brown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.

A.L. Brown ended up a good deal behind West Cabarrus in their previous matchup back in January, losing 63-48. Can A.L. Brown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
