Softball Recap: Cypress Bay Takes a Loss

Cypress Bay fell victim to Coral Springs Charter and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Panthers. The Lightning have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Cypress Bay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Doobrow, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Doobrow snagged this season.

Cypress Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Coral Springs Charter, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Cypress Bay will welcome Archbishop McCarthy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
