Soccer Recap: San Luis Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, San Luis couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Washington Rams who were credited with the win on Wednesday. The Washington Rams got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the San Luis Sidewinders' three. That makes it the first time this season the Sidewinders have let down their home crowd.

San Luis' loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Washington, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

San Luis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Pinnacle on the 22nd.
