Basketball Recap: Roaring Fork Rams vs. Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Roaring Fork can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 70-40 loss at the hands of the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rams have suffered since January 31st.
Despite the loss, Roaring Fork still got an impressive performance from Lucas Carballeira, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luis Andrade, who posted six points.
Windsor Charter Academy was led to victory by Andrew Schams and Kellen Ball. Schams scored 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Ball almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. Those nine boards gave Ball a new career-high. Dayton Long was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.
