After a string of four wins, NSU University's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Gulliver Prep Raiders. The Sharks were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Daniella Lugo paced NSU University's offense, picking up four kills. Lugo got some help from Allyson Koury and her six assists. Finally, Izabella (Luna) St. Amour kept NSU University's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Gulliver Prep was led to victory by Mia Lavalle and Daniela Torre Blanes. Lavalle had 16 digs, while Torre Blanes had 16 assists and five digs. With that strong performance, Torre Blanes is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game.

NSU University's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Gulliver Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

NSU University has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Palmer Trinity on the 8th. As for Gulliver Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Pine Crest on the 8th.
