Softball Preview: Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees vs. Central Hardin Bruins

Bethlehem is 0-5 against Central Hardin since May of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles/Banshees will head out on the road to face off against the Bruins at 6:00 p.m. Bethlehem will be strutting in after a victory while Central Hardin will be coming in after a loss.

Bethlehem's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bardstown as they made off with an 18-0 win. The Eagles/Banshees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by eight runs or more this season.

Alexis Hume was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
