Salpointe Catholic extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Reagan Burgle. The Lancers came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts for which the team can thank Burgle, who had 30 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Salpointe Catholic took Mica Mountain into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-12, 25-20, 21-25, 15-13.
Salpointe Catholic's win bumped their record up to 28-8. As for Mica Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-9.
