Chatham Charter extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 10-7 in the process. They never let the Northwood Chargers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Northwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

For Northwood's part, Jasmine Wichowski spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and seven unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Makenna Lux made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Chatham Charter will face off against River Mill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. Northwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
