Soccer Recap: Harmony School of Innovation Comes Up Short

Harmony School of Innovation managed to keep up with Royal until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs lost 8-2 to the Royal Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 591st, while the Falcons are ranked 178th).

Harmony School of Innovation's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Royal, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Coming up, Harmony School of Innovation will challenge New Waverly at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Harmony School of Innovation is facing New Waverly at the right time seeing as New Waverly is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Royal, they will square off against Navasota at 6:05 p.m. on Friday. Royal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.5 goals per game this season.
