Antioch has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 6-1 to the Alameda Hornets on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 883rd, while the Hornets are ranked 151st).

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-3. As for Alameda, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Antioch duke it out with the Newark Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alameda, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mt. Diablo at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
