Volleyball Recap: Letchworth Beats Geneseo for Their Third Straight Win

Letchworth got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Geneseo Blue Devils by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Legends sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Letchworth had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Letchworth's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Geneseo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Letchworth will take on rival Caledonia-Mumford at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Geneseo is set to face off against their familiar foe Le Roy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
