Volleyball Recap: Ygnacio Valley Comes Up Short

Ygnacio Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Benicia Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-11.

Ygnacio Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Benicia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ygnacio Valley will face off against rival Miramonte at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Benicia is set to take on their familiar foe Alhambra at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
