Basketball Recap: St. Charles North Comes Up Short

St. Charles North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbard North Panthers. While losing is never fun, the North Stars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Panthers are ranked 205th).

St. Charles North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Glenbard North, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

St. Charles North won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Schaumburg at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Glenbard North, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Hersey at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Glenbard North has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three contests.
