East Palo Alto Academy hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost six straight) but thanks in part to Dreshon Barker-Goode that streak is no more. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs made off with a 55-54 victory over the Mid-Peninsula Dragons thanks in part to Barker-Goode, who went 12 of 28 to rack up 31 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 41.7% three-point shooting accuracy.

Daray Kindle was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 11 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played.

Mid-Peninsula lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Oliver Carpenter, who posted 14 points along with eight assists and eight boards. Another player making a difference was James Carpenter, who went 6 of 12 en route to 13 points and eight rebounds.

East Palo Alto Academy's record now sits at 4-7. As for Mid-Peninsula, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

East Palo Alto Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-45 loss against Kehillah on the 3rd. As for Mid-Peninsula, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 71-63 defeat against Mountain View Academy on the 4th.
