Monterey entered their tilt with Alisal on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They beat the Alisal Trojans by a goal, winning 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Dores: when they faced off against the Trojans back in January, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Ethan Bonilla was the driving force of Monterey's attack as he scored both of Monterey's goals, bringing his season total up to 16 goals.

Monterey's record is now 10-3-3. As for Alisal, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-4 and their overall record down to 6-4-5.

Monterey will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Hollister at 3:00 p.m. As for Alisal, they will take on Seaside at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Alisal's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
