Baseball Recap: Loreauville Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Loreauville's offense. They came up short against the Catholic - N.I. Panthers on Saturday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Loreauville now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Catholic - N.I., they pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loreauville will challenge Rayne at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catholic - N.I., they will head out to take on Breaux Bridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
